About Us

A Year With Frog and Toad, Broadway At Iroquois

At a joint board meeting, the leadership of Stage One, Music Theatre Louisville, and the Louisville Theatrical Association presenter of PNC Broadway Across America – Louisville, agreed to combine the three groups into a single collaborative organization known as The Louisville Theatrical Association (LTA). The purpose of LTA was to forge new and greater audience development and education opportunities for each group, and take advantage of staffing efficiencies under a new format.  As far as their shows are concerned, each group
maintains separate public presenting identities.  Oliver, Broadway At Iroquois

All three groups are members of the Greater Louisville Fund for the Arts and all maintain a 501(c)3 non-profit status. Of the merger, Fund President & CEO Allan Cowen said, Louisville is known for its innovation both onstage and off.  The strategic advantage of this new collaboration brings out the best of each organization and creates an experience in theatre that will last a lifetime.”

At the helm of LTA is Peter Holloway, former executive
of Music Theatre Louisville since 2005. Post merger,
Holloway now serves as the Producing Artistic Director with Mary Miller serving as General Manager.

LTA continues educating and inspiring thousands of
children and families of all ages. We will continue to
entertain audiences with musical theatre performances
during the summer, and we will share the love of live Bunnicula, Stage One
theater with children, teachers and families of all ages
throughout the school year at the Kentucky Center's
Bomhard Theater.
